Who Are We?
A team of parents who through fund raising events, help to provide 'extras' to the school for the benefit of all pupils.
In the last couple of years we have funded various sports and musical equipment, we have supported trips to the USA for
youngsters. This year we have already committed funds of £4,500 to various faculties to buy the extras that make Windsor
'different'.
What's Involved?
We raise funds from 2 main events, the Christmas Fayre and Summer Fayre. We need new ideas to keep the events fresh,
we need help in the planning and organisation, we need help on the day. We also organise events such as shopping trips,
body shop parties etc.
50/50 Club
A major source of fund raising is the 50/50 Club. The draw takes place every month with 3 prizes being awarded - the
top prize is usually over £100.
Basically the 50/50 Club operates like a 'Lottery Club', Members 'buy' a number (or a share) for £1 each month per
number.
Each person can 'buy' up to a maximum of five numbers (or £5) each month. When you first join up your number(s) will
be allocated by the Club Coordinator.
Each calendar month (January, February, etc), all the numbers are entered into a draw and three numbers are drawn
("1st", "2nd" and "3rd").
The monthly prize fund will be 50% of the money collected from members for that month, with the other 50% going
directly to the Parent Teacher Association Fundraising Account (a registered charity operated by the PTA committee).
Joining the 50/50 Club
It's simple to join - simply fill out a form available from the school on request.
