Rewards Cabinet & Merits

Merits are awarded to students in Years 7, 8 and Year 9. Year 10 and 11 students are awarded distinctions and they can use these to access the 'Rewards Cabinet'.

Merits will be awarded for the following reasons:

• Outstanding work
• Reaching a target
• Positive attitude
• Uniform
• Effort
• Attendance
• Punctuality
• Community service/really helpful
• Politeness
• Uniform

Merits can be exchanged for items in the cabinet. The Rewards Cabinet is stocked with a range of items:

• Items of stationery
• School printer credits
• Key rings
• Lanyards
• Vouchers
• Note booklets
• ICT Memory Sticks
• Work Wallets

Many of the items on offer carry the school name. This will enable Windsor staff and students to identify that a reward has been issued.

The cabinet is located outside Room 1. Merits can be exchanged for items via the Pastoral office in the adjacent corridor at MORNING BREAK TIME.

School Council is involved in the item selection process for the cabinet. Items on offer in the cabinet will be reviewed on a termly basis. The Rewards Cabinet is supported financially by the Windsor High School Association (PTA).
